EXPERIENCE
Our Hackney Church Wedding will take place at the church where we both have been to together and had intimate moments with God in. It is a lovely building! The reception will take place at the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, China has been there before. When we first visited we fell in love with the simplicity and minimalism of the place.
Our Hackney Church wedding theme is centred around Christ, the decor is black and white. The floral design is also very simple with white, ivory and plain colours. We want the guest experience to be very intimate and to be a real sense of love throughout. We don’t want people to be distracted but to spend precious time with each other in the presence of God. The food will be a Caribbean buffet, which will also give it a family feel. There is a DJ that will get the party going in the evening.
STORY
HONEYMOON
We first met when we were 15/16 years old, we went our separate ways for 5 years and then God brought as back together in the March of last year. I am a footballer and China designs kitchens and bathrooms. We have similar interests, the greatest being our love for Christ. This is the centre of our relationship and the only way we have gotten to this point. We love travelling, shopping and family. Our perfect day would be to either have a cosy night in or to go on a date night somewhere nice and have some great food.
We haven’t booked our honeymoon yet but hopefully will go to Maldives in the summer, depending on the football season.
MOST EXCITED ABOUT
We are looking forward to having our loved ones in one place together; eating, dancing and just spending precious time with our closest people.
PROPOSAL
FILM
On the 1st September 2024, we went to the O2 which is where we went on our first ever date all those years ago. After, we went to Greenwich Park where China’s best friends had set up a picnic, and I got on one knee and the said yes!
We have seen your cinematic work and how your videos really portray a story line. We want to be in tears when we watch it back as we run through our love story and see our loved ones all present at our amazing day.
ATTIRE + ACCESSORIES
WISE WORDS
The theme for our Hackney Church Wedding is black and white. My suit is a black tuxedo with patent shoes and China is wearing a white dress. I got my suit from Hawes and Curtis and China got hers from House of CB. We love minimalist themes and it will be clear throughout the wedding. The groomsman will be wearing black tuxedos with a black shirt, and the maid of honours will be wearing black. I wear silver jewellery and china wears gold.
Marriage is a sacred gift from God, when it is given the honour due, the day will be unforgettable for everyone present.

China and Elliot, it is hard to put into words how I grateful I am that I was able to experience and capture your day, it was truly profound. It really was centred around Christ and your love for each other and your amazing family and friends. I have never captured a wedding with so many high quality speakers before, and as a result I was really up against it with deciding which parts to use, as I could have used it all! Anyway, I really hope you love watching it all back, now and in the future. I absolutely loved making it! Thank you for being so lovely to work with on the day, you are a credit to yourselves and your families.
