THEME
We liked that at our Larkspur Lodge wedding, it was all together and the bar was right near the main area and also outside so everyone still felt together, even if they were in different areas.
The theme is colourful - lots of colourful flowers/vases/candles. Colourful and happy!
We want a really relaxed day with no pressure and just want everyone to let their hair down and have a good time!
STORY
EXPERIENCE
We met when I was 15 and Dale was 17 in Winnington Snooker club. I was friends with one of his best friends Will.
The proposal... well we went to York for the weekend for my 30th birthday and stayed in a cabin. We went into the town for dinner and when we arrived back it was all decorated with candles/flowers/pictures of our life together so far and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We were really drunk!
Spending the day with all of our loved ones and celebrating us. Mediterranean platter - sharing in the middle of the tables. Having long tables so it doesn't feel as formal!
In three words... laughter, love and letting loose.
FILM
ATTIRE
We love watching your videos of other weddings, we cannot wait to watch it back and remember the day! I never really thought of having a video but after you did Betty's tea party I knew we had to have you there!
The suits are black tie and the wedding dress has been made. My shoes are red to go with the red rose that the groom and groomsmen will wear.
My best friend wants to walk down the aisle but still hasn't found a dress. The groomsmen have got the same suit as Dale.
HONEYMOON
Following our Larkspur Lodge wedding, we are going to Sorrento because we love Italy and love Italian food!
JEWELLERY + ACCESSORIES
WISE WORDS
Simple gold earrings and a simple gold and pearl necklace. I'll maybe wear my grandmas engagement ring on my other hand.
- Take little pauses in the day because it goes so quick.
- Take lots of photos!
- Have a relaxed approach about it all! We did and nothing seemed stressful.
