a PRYORs HAYES Wedding |
VENUE
ATTIRE + ACCESSORIES
If I had all the money in the world I would have had it abroad or in the middle of summer and the wedding all outside. However, I love the outside area at Pryors Hayes and I love the bi-folding doors that let all the daylight in. I love how everyone will all be in one open space, so people aren’t divided or hiding in different rooms. I like the look of the brick and the wooden pillars together. I'm hoping for an outside ceremony (weather permitting)!
I am wearing pearl earrings rings and pearls in my hair. I am not sure whether to wear a necklace yet. We both have plain wedding bands. My engagement ring is the show stopper for me.
I am in an ivory strapless fitted dress, plain, with a bow on the back. I searched for the perfect bow and I love the back of the dress it’s my favourite with buttons all down the back. Andrew & our son are tux with an ivory jacket and red rose (Daniel Craig vibes haha). My bridesmaid will be in champagne and groomsmen in black/very dark navy tuxedos.
STORY
EXPERIENCE
We met on the dating app Bumble. Then Andrew asked me on a date, not knowing that I used to hang around with his little brother and his brothers friends, and I had always known of Andrew and fancied him when I was younger (as you can imagine he loves to boast about this story haha).
Andrew is a currently training to be a fire fighter for North Wales. I am a learning and development trainer, I teach adults personal/soft skills. In our pasts we were both in the travel industry… I lived abroad for 8 years for Thomas Cook as a rep. Andrew worked for Emirates as cabin crew and lived in Dubai for 4 years. We both wanted to travel from a young age and then we came home and met each other at the perfect stage in our lives.
I guess if you asked our friends they would say we are the party animals of the group. We both love to socialise and when we didn’t have Jude we would never be in the house… either at the gym, cinema, eating out, live music, festivals, nights out etc. We still try & do those things when we can get a babysitter!
Our perfect day together would be either on holiday at a pool party or Radio 1 Big Weekend (drinking and dancing in the sun together again :p)
If I had to describe our Pryor Hayes wedding in three words it would be fun, exciting and chill! The wedding is very chilled and minimalistic with black, white, champagne and green colours. The flowers are white roses & gypsophila. The tables will have floating candles in vases with white flowers/ greenery around them. I’m hoping the venue still has the fairy lights around the wooden beams/pillars as I love that look. Food food food! We are having pate to start, beef for mains and sticky toffee pudding and custard for pudding. The drinks will be beer, wine & prosecco. We have a magician in the day, singer with a guitar for first dance & 2 hours, then the venues DJ for the rest of the evening.
HONEYMOON
We don’t have a honeymoon planned yet due to Andrew’s new job and annual leave.
MOST EXCITED ABOUT
All of it! I am looking forward to seeing all our loved ones together, officially getting the same surname as my boys. Also the speeches and the lovely words. The singer, We go to see the singer on nights out a lot so looking forward to that. Oh and the party! Just a love filled Pryors Hayes Wedding day!
PROPOSAL
Andrew proposed on Christmas Eve morning 24/12/2022. We always go out Christmas Eve into Chester and meet friends for drinks. I was getting ready upstairs, came out of my room to a red envelope on the floor. It was a Christmas card and inside was a poem about our lives together and ended with come downstairs for a surprise. (I thought ooo I’m going on holiday haha). I turned around and there were rose petals in a path down the stairs leading to the front room. Love music on and next to the Christmas tree was Andrew on one knee with a ring and ‘Nosecco’ as I was 3 months pregnant at the time. It was a huge surprise and I loved how it was a moment just for us two, it was perfect.
FILM
We really liked your style. We weren't going to have a photographer as we don’t really like photos that others take of us... but ended up booking one last minute for a few hours. However, the video has always been so important to us as we want our son and any future children to be able to watch the day mummy and daddy got married.
special thanks...

Natalie and Andrew, you are both genuinely the most lovely and down to earth couple and I absolutely loved capturing your day. From start to finish I felt a real connection with you both and you along with your amazing family and friends made me feel so welcome. I think all the stars aligned with your day and how lucky you were with the amazing weather, it was a perfect day! Enjoy reliving it all over and over xxx
