Villa San Martino is pink, has a pool, and its own rustic Italian restaurant on site. It has really nice gardens with lots of beautiful open outdoor space. It feels like the perfect size and style for the wedding we wanted.
The scheme is very natural, and romantic, the Villa San Martino setting takes care of a lot of it. Flowers will be very minimal, alfresco dining, think rustic Italian.
My wedding dress was bought in Peru and is a bespoke designed dress. I will be doing a second outfit change which is TBC, however I already have the shoes! Don's suit is from Suit Supply in London. Wedding bands are the same as each other's, bought from the same jewellers as the engagement ring in Peru. I will also be wearing the matching earrings to the engagement ring.
The three bridesmaids have chosen their own dresses. The two flower girls have also followed the same theme which is light pastel colours (butter, sage, or pink), theme is very romantic, lots of textures, and patterns. The groomsman will be wearing black tuxedos with dickie bows.
STORY
We met on Inner Circle (a ponzy app for 'young professionals in the city'), met for our first date (which was drinks) at Bar American in Piccadilly and just continued. Don is the Founder of a golf business (skinsgolf.com) and I am a Business Development Manager.
Our interests are eating, cooking, drinking, travelling and our dog. Our perfect day involves being on holiday, relaxing long mornings with lazy lunches exploring new places, maybe a swim or explorative activity then finding a nice sunset to watch before dinner.
HONEYMOON
PROPOSAL
No official honeymoon booked yet but we will be staying on for an Italian mini-moon and heading down to Lecce for a few nights after the wedding. The plan is to have no plans, chill, pool, and room service.
Don proposed on 06.01.23 in Lima, Peru. We took a stroll along a coastal path of Lima and Don waited for a good quiet spot with a view of the ocean. Afterwards, we were greeted by my mum and some family and went out to celebrate.

EXPERIENCE
Seeing all our friends and family meet and mingle.
Three words that describe our Villa San Martino wedding is FUN FUN FUN! We want people to feel like they've had loads of fun, great food, and lots of dancing. There is no formal entertainment arranged apart from DJ, however we have our close friend Alex, playing the guitar before and during our ceremony, and we will be surprising our guests with a choreographed first dance to Islands in the Stream. We also have garden games during the reception hour.
There's no real theme, just natural and working with what's already there... semi-rustic, semi-romantic and minimal flowers.

Well, I have to say, you guys really know how to throw a party! From start to finish, your wedding was an absolute pleasure to capture. It quite literally ticked every box... great couple, brilliant guests, a pink venue and the right amount of everything to create the perfect day!
