aN ARLEY HALL WEDDING |
THE BACKGROUND FROM JADE + SAM

We looked at many venues and then my mum and stepdad recommended looking at Arley Hall for our wedding - we wanted something with character that doesn’t need a lot of additional dressing - Arley Hall is stunning - the interiors are beautiful and atmospheric and we fell in love with it instantly!
I went fairly classic with the dress, it’s A-line with a train and veil - bit nervous about tripping and rolling down the aisle but I will be with my dad so hopefully he’ll keep me from falling! Dress is from Swan Brides in Congleton! I went there for a very specific dress and came out with a different one! My shoes are nothing super special to be honest and I may end up changing into some white trainers at some point! My bridesmaids are in olive green - I’ve got 2 bridesmaid's (Maddy & Katie) and a maid of honour (Jess) - I’ve known Maddy and Katie since we were 4 and Jess since we were about 15!
Sam's wearing a navy/royal blue suit from Moss Bros - again nothing mega flashy but blue always suits him well. No special jewellery or accessories really just some simple bits! 🙂 Sam's groomsmen are his brother (Chris - best man) and his dad (Bill/William) - they’ll be in the same suits as him with green ties/pocket squares to match bridesmaids. We also have our nephew and niece, Will and Bella who will be Page Boy and Flower Girl 🙂
STORY
We met about 10 years ago on OG tinder... 4/5months in we decided to go travelling and work in Australia - some friends and family thought we were crazy but it’s worked out for the best! I’m an interior designer and Sam is in building surveying, we both appreciate beautiful buildings! We like exploring and travelling or just a day at the climbing centre 🙂
PROPOSAL
Sam proposed in Ambleside back in November 2023 for our 8 year anniversary - we love spending time in the Lakes especially Ambleside. I actually thought he was going to end things because he was acting really strange and distant before and he’d never been that fussed about getting married! Haha.
HONEYMOON
We’re off to Hawaii on the Monday after the wedding for 3 weeks! Wanted to take the opportunity to travel far! We’re going to 4 islands and super excited to explore/swim/snorkel/hike etc!
EXPERIENCE
FILM
We don’t really have a theme for our Arley Hall Wedding, the venue speaks for itself! Colour-wise we’ve gone for greens and blues for the bridal party - flowers will be accents of orange/pale yellow/pale blue and foliage to hopefully compliment the colours in the Hall.
We are hoping for a relaxed day where everyone can catch up! We don’t have any particular entertainment other than drinking, socialising and eating - we’ll have a band in the evening (we are going to put packs of cards on tables and kids will get some colouring for the meal - it’s just going to be chilled I think).
We love your style of film and the way you are able to capture the essence of the day and key moments! Capturing the day in film will be such a wonderful way to remember the beauty of it - people always say it’s a fast day and we’d like to be able to keep hold of the moments of the day and maybe even see bits we didn’t see/or from a different perspective! This will also be for our families, especially grandparents who will be able to watch the day back whenever they want 🙂

MOST EXCITED ABOUT
1. Try to walk slowly down the aisle and savor the moment. It’s easy to get caught up in the nerves and excitement, but take a breath and enjoy this special time, it only happens once.
2. Don’t stress, everything is planned and in place. Focus on being present and soaking in every moment. The day will fly by!
Apart from marrying each other we’re looking forward to seeing family and friends together in one place!
